Terms of Service
These terms apply to Stakeholder Service Group LLC ("we," "us," or "the company"), this website, each brand we operate, and the phone and text messaging services those brands use. A current list of brands is at stakeholderservicegroup.com/brands.html. By using a brand's website, calling or texting a brand, or requesting service, you agree to these terms.
1. What we do and do not do
We operate local home service brands: the brand name, website, phone number, published price ranges, and the answering and scheduling service behind them. We are not a contractor. We do not perform, supervise, or warrant trade work. The work you request is performed by an independent, licensed and insured business in your area ("the service provider") that we assign to the brand. The service provider enters into its own agreement with you, sets the final price, bills you, and is responsible for the quality of the work, permits, and any warranty it offers.
2. Price ranges
Price ranges on a brand's website, on the phone, or by text are estimates based on recent local pricing and the information you give us. They are not a quote and not a promise of a final price. The final price is set by the service provider after seeing the job. If the service provider's price is outside the range we gave you, you are free to decline the work before it starts.
3. Text messaging terms
Program. Customer service texts from Stakeholder Service Group LLC brands. When you call or text a brand, you may receive text messages from that brand about your request: confirmations, price ranges, arrival windows, reminders, and a follow-up if we missed your call. Messages are sent from the brand's published phone number.
Consent. You agree to receive these messages by calling or texting a brand, by checking the text consent box on a brand's website, or by giving your number to us for this purpose. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any service. You can request service by phone without agreeing to receive texts.
Frequency. Message frequency varies with your request. Most requests generate a handful of messages over a few days.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply. Standard messaging rates from your carrier apply to every message you send or receive.
Opt out. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from that brand. You will receive one final message confirming your opt-out. To rejoin, text the brand again or reply START.
Help. Reply HELP to any message, or email support@stakeholderservicegroup.com.
Privacy. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy.
Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Messages are supported on major U.S. carriers; delivery depends on your carrier and device.
Your number. You confirm you are the owner or authorized user of the phone number you use with us, and you will tell us if you stop using that number.
4. Calls and recordings
Calls to a brand may be answered by an automated voice assistant and may be recorded and transcribed for quality, training, and record keeping. You are told this at the start of the call. If you do not want to be recorded, hang up and text the brand instead.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use a brand's phone number, website, or messaging for anything other than a genuine service request. Do not send content that is unlawful, abusive, or intended to disrupt our service. Do not copy our published price ranges or other content for use elsewhere without written permission.
6. Content and trademarks
Brand names, websites, price ranges, text, and images are owned by Stakeholder Service Group LLC or licensed to us. You may view and use them to arrange service for yourself. Any other use requires our written permission.
7. Disclaimers
Our websites, phone lines, and messaging are provided as is. We do not promise that they will be available at all times or free of errors. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of the service provider, the quality of its work, or its pricing. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the law of the state where you live that cannot be limited by contract.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stakeholder Service Group LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of a brand, a website, a phone line, or a text message, or from the work of a service provider. Our total liability to you for any claim will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100).
9. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Any dispute with the company will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Denver County, Colorado. Disputes about the work itself are between you and the service provider.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top changes when we do. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
